WingtraOne to help build Europe’s first testing ground for high-speed vacuum travel

The construction team building Europe’s first super-fast maglev transportation testing site will use a WingtraOne drone to conduct a topographic survey of the site. Land in Switzerland used for the testing site needs to be surveyed before it can be used, so fellow-Swiss company Wingtra suggested its VTOL drone. The 3km long and 3m wide stretch of land will be used to build the a vacuum tube that is to be the testing site for ultra-high-speed transportation technology. Intel investment to boost Delair’s data-driven drone software

Commercial drone provider, Delair, has secured a round of an investment from Intel Capital which will be used to develop a data processing, visualisation, analytics and reporting service. Delair and Intel are collaborating on the Intel Insight Platform, a cloud-based digital asset management solution. The system leverages Delair’s suite of software analytics to speed Intel’s efforts to transform how businesses work using data captured from UAVs. World’s first production hydrogen drone lands in UK after uVue wins distribution deal

Suffolk-based drone provider, uVue, has struck a deal to distribute and licence a new hydrogen drone in the UK, which has been hailed as a breakthrough for the company. uVue has been granted distribution rights for what claims to be the world’s first ever production hydrogen drone – the Hydrone 1550, which is manufactured by MMC.
