London-based trade exhibition the Commercial UAV Show has stepped up a gear and increased in size in a bid to reflect the industry’s rapid growth.
Ahead of the fifth instalment of the two-day annual show, which is set to go ahead at London’s Excel Centre from November 14 to 15, it has been announced that the show is set to increase in size.
The news comes in response to the consistently growing state of the market, with more enterprise organisations seeking in-house UAV management.
As well as increasing the floor plan size and revamping the layout to offer more prime spots, Terrapin, the company organising the show, is introducing a wider variety of content.
The 2018 edition of the show is set to feature 120 speakers from within various parts of the industry and six on-floor theatres.
Eddy Ryan, commercial manager of the show, told Commercial Drone Professional: “The Commercial UAV Show has seen consistent growth over the last four editions of the event, with exhibitors up by 26% and visitors by 19.5% in 2017.
“To compliment this growth, we have expanded the floor plan to cater for larger positions for leading sponsors and created more desirable corner booths – along with double the on-floor content, focused on particular industry verticals, so that our visitors know exactly where they can learn how to utilise UAVs in their businesses.”
Show organisers have revealed some of the industry leading companies which have snapped up bookings, including Lockheed Martin, Sky-Futures and RUSTA, as well as recently announced Yuneec and SenseFly.
