Texo DSI has inked a deal with D2R Technology, a Brazilian oil and gas technology specialist, in a move to provide exclusive drone services.
The deal with Texo DSI, a dedicated offshore division of Texo Drone Survey and Inspection, will see D2R become the company’s official partner in Brazil. As a result, Texo DSI (UKCS) will provide a range of UAV deployed survey and inspection solutions for projects and assets in Brazil.
Ronnie Genther, principal contracts manager at Texo DSI, said: “This is a significant step forward for the business in our global expansion strategy. We have developed what is the world’s most advanced UAV-integrated survey and inspection solution and are looking forward to working closely with D2R to deliver mission critical data acquisition operations for clients in Brazil.”
Richard Silva, director of D2R Technology, commented: “This is a breakthrough for the Brazilian market, to have access to the world’s most advanced fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles for industrial survey and inspection.
“With this strategic partnership, it is simply a reassurance that D2R is consolidating its position as technology specialist in Brazil. Both companies have a lot to share and learn from each other, but in reality the Brazilian market is the real beneficiary.”
Since its inception, Texo DSI has developed a suite of UAV deployed survey and inspection services for the global energy sector.
