Dutch UAS designer and manufacturer Acecore Technologies has announced it has renewed its partnership with Workswell, designer and manufacturer of stationary, R&D and UAV thermal imaging cameras.

Together the Acecore and Workswell say they aim to provide the global commercial drone market with a European-made, “100% China-free alternative” to current options.

The companies combine Acecore’s lightweight carbon fibre-framed drones with Workswell’s many varied camera solutions.

These include the GIS320 gas detection camera and the dual sensor WIRIS Security.

Ready-to-fly bundles can be purchased from Acecore as well as Workswell sales points.

Youri van Helden, marketing manager at Acecore, commented: “Acecore have been working with Workswell infrared cameras ever since we recognized the thermal inspection industry for power lines, solar panels and wind turbines.

“Integrating the first generation WIRIS dual sensor camera as a payload option for our drones enabled Acecore to deliver a complete solution.

“Revamping the partnership allows us to work even more closely together and take advantage of Workswell’s extended product range.”

    1. The Cube flight controller which these drones use originates from Switzerland. Then there’s the option for the ‘blue’ cube which is made in the USA and thus China-free.
