Drone company Aerodyne Group has announced its acquisition of Measure UAS.
The combined business will operate as Aerodyne Measure and provide drone services to North America.
Aerodyne Measure will offer premium, turnkey aerial inspections of infrastructure assets in the energy utilities, renewable energy, oil and gas sectors as well as roads, bridges and ports.
It will leverage Aerodyne’s Vertikaliti solution suite, an end-to-end cloud-based asset management solution.
Aerodyne founder and group CEO, Kamarul A Muhamed said: “We are proud to welcome Measure’s drone services team into the Aerodyne family. Measure has established quality processes and a reputation for excellent customer service, giving Aerodyne a strong foothold as we expand into the North American market.
“By combining our expertise, we have created a business that will be a market leader from day one. With the drone industry in a consolidation phase where companies which can deliver real value will come out on top, this partnership is a timely move to position us well for the next phase of growth.”
This news comes after Aerodyne announced a similar partnership with Japan Infrastructure Waymark earlier this year. Read more here:
