Altitude Angel becomes geodata supplier to Dronecloud

Altitude Angel has confirmed it is to become the geodata supplier to drone operations management platform Dronecloud.

The GuardianUTM airspace management platform from Altitude Angel will be used to power Dronecloud with accurate, real-time and relevant geodata for European and USA territories.

The move sees the firm replace AirMap, which was used during the beta test phase, and will further supply Dronecloud as it rolls out the platform globally.

Dronecloud is a brand-new cloud solution launching in June.

The platform represents a world first by unifying industry leading compliance workflows with real business tools required to run and grow a successful drone operation in one platform.

Toby Potter, Altitude Angel, VP sales and partnerships, said: “We are excited Dronecloud have chosen to integrate our GuardianUTM API into its innovative platform ahead of its roll out across Europe, the United States and beyond.”

Dave Bush, director at Dronecloud added: “Guardian UTM makes it easy for innovators, like Dronecloud, to incorporate real-time, high-quality and accurate data into their applications. This allows our customers to focus on what’s important to them, delivering high-quality applications to drone operators.”

Last month CDP reported on how Altitude Angel’s user portal was enabled at six UK airports.
