Altitude Angel has joined forces with the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) on the Swiss U-Space Implementation (SUSI) platform.
The development programme sets out to establish a U-Space regulatory framework.
FOCA established the SUSI platform and invited businesses from across the globe to help advance its understanding and regulatory model around the integration of UAS into the airspace.
Altitude Angel will participate in SUSI in three of the defined categories where it specialises, including U-Space Service Providers, Supplemental Data Service Providers and Technology Providers.
In joining the SUSI project, Richard Parker, Altitude Angel’s founder and CEO, said: “Altitude Angel is very happy to see the bold and positive initiative being taken by Swiss FOCA and Skyguide to further the advancement of the integration of UAS into the airspace, on top of the leading efforts being undertaken to develop the regulatory models and requirements globally.”
He added: “The development of an open, competitive marketplace is key. We’re very much looking forward to working closely with the team at FOCA and Skyguide to develop open, safe, reliable, and innovative solutions for its UTM platform.”
