Altitude Angel has welcomed Airvid into its Global Partnership Programme.
Established in 2013, Airvid has experience within the UAV sector, providing services to a wide array of industries including construction, oil & gas, energy, telecommunications and archaeology.
The news of Airvid joining the Global Partnership Programme has quickly followed the recent announcement Spark Mobility were the first organisation to join the initiative.
On Airvid joining the Global Partnership Programme, Richard Ellis, Altitude Angel chief business officer, said: “We’re excited to welcome Airvid to Altitude Angel’s Global Partnership Programme. With Airvid’s extensive experience of unmanned operations and industry connections coupled with Altitude Angel’s market leading platform, GuardianUTM, both companies complement each other to enable safe, complex flight operations.”
While Spyros Kokkinakis, Airvid’s CEO, added: “We are overwhelmed to be part of the Altitude Angel’s family of representatives. We are very enthusiastic to be part of a team thriving in the UTM technologies sector and looking very forward to providing the best of products, services and support to the unmanned aviation world.”
Once in place, the partnerships work with interested parties on the introduction of Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM platform to enable UAV technologies to operate safely and securely.
In turn, this allows drone pilots to not only undertake more complex missions, but carry out BVLOS flights in integrated airspace.
