ARPAS, the professional trade association for remotely piloted aircraft and systems, has laid on a special industry event in a bid to explore the use of artificial intelligence for smart construction applications.
The organisation, which recently entered into a partnership with the NFRC designed to ensure the use of drone technology in the roofing industry is safe and legal, is hosting an event tomorrow night, Wednesday March 28, in order to discuss unmanned technology and AI within infrastructure applications.
ARPAS stated: “The aim of this event is to bring together stakeholders from the construction sector, city challenge owners (local authorities), infrastructure providers, Digital Built Britain practitioners, thought leaders and innovators from the AI community in order to unpack the opportunity portfolio.
“This event will allow the communities to learn and share knowledge of challenges, understanding the impact of AI implementation, showcase best practice and inspire the art of the possible.”
The event, and recent partnership, reportedly comes after the NFRC noticed a rise in the use of UAVs within the construction industry.
