ARPAS-UK publishes FRZ feedback form for aerodrome integration insights

ARPAS-UK has put together a feedback form for people who have experiences requesting permission to fly in aerodrome FRZs.

The group is looking to capture both positive and negative experiences and has asked the industry for help.

As part of a news release, ARPAS detailed how one of the reasons for the survey was its plans tom publish a league table of the best and the worst aerodromes for drone integration in the UK.

It said it believes that this will improve best practice and encourage better drone integration efforts.

ARPAS went on to describe how it hopes the feedback from the survey will enable its committee to better equip itself with knowledge for upcoming meetings with regulators, so they have direct feedback from operators as to the impact of the new aerodrome restrictions.

Finally, it wants to be able to use the intel gathered to help to inform operators as to which aerodromes obtaining permission might be difficult, or where a fee is being asked for.

If you have some experiences to share, fill in the survey here.
