Auterion GS has announced the addition of former Lockheed Martin CTO Ray O Johnson to its board of directors.
Auterion is a drone and drone software company that specialises in drone solutions for governments.
Its drone platform is built for government customers and powers any drone with the software, payloads, and seamless workflow integrations required for government drone operations.
Now, Ray O Johnson has joined its board, bringing with him extensive experience in the defense industry.
He is currently an active board member for several high-growth tech and aerospace organisations.
Dave Sharpin, CEO and chairman of the board of Auterion GS, commented: “It is great to have Ray Johnson join our board of directors. He brings with him extensive experience in developing and executing growth and technology strategies across industry and government.
“His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we execute on our vision to enable a new ecosystem of unmanned aircraft systems that will provide expanded capabilities to our US defense and security customers.”
Johnson himself added: “I am excited to join the Auterion GS board of directors. There are important challenges that today’s market leader will encounter as they attempt to meet the diverse needs of the global drone marketplace.
“I am confident that Auterion Government Solutions, with its open software platform, is well-positioned to dynamically respond to the wide range of solutions required for defense applications.”
