Balfour Beatty harnesses the power of drones


English multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty has become one of the latest organisations to recognise the power of UAVs.

The company has contracted DJM Aerial Solutions to capturing aesthetic aerial crane photography and progression imagery.

Balfour Beatty is leading the construction of new bridge and road across a Middlesbrough lock and up towards Middlesbrough Football Stadium Riverside park.

DJM Aerial Solutions’ Dan Maine said: “This project happened to be one close to my heart. Not only was it significant for my hometown, but also a project close to home in terms of the main area of focus being a contract lift using a crane I personally had heavy involvement with during my time with Sarens 13 years ago, not the exact same machine but its sister model none the less.”

While DJM Aerial Solutions’ services several industries, including the creative, its speciality remains within the inspection and survey remit.
