IUDRO has released its eSports-Series.
Publicly available, the team behind the launch have made it accessible on every stream platform.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the news, Alejandro Perez-Llabata, CEO and founder at IUDRO, said: “This will at last allow all of our University teams, from those that are registered, to those that have reached out to us, to finally compete on a global platform without the burden of travel students often face.”
Adding: “A huge congratulations and thanks to the IUDRO team, our top universities who took part in the testing, and most importantly Kevin Haelterman and the team at LuGus Studios – putting IUDRO in contention for high-quality spectator esports.”
He went on to confirm that this an official race calendar of scheduled spectator races, highlight reels, interviews and races are set to come in the future.
IUDRO defines itself as the pioneers of drone racing in academia – innovating the sport alongside the diverse minds of the next generation.
Having hosted the first university drone race outside the US, and first urban drone racing in the UK, it says it is driven to push boundaries and continue doing so.
