The drone sector could soon see the return of business meetings and events as Boris Johnson announced the next steps to getting the country back to normal post-lockdown.
Speaking as part of the coronavirus briefing on Friday morning, the prime minister said that while hoping for the best outcome, it must still plan for the worst.
He explained how larger events, following a pilot period, including business conferences and events will be allowed from October.
From August 1, employers will also have discretion to invite employees back to work given it is safe and staff are happy to return following a consultation.
Given pilot schemes run smoothly and the brakes do not have to be put on, businesses will soon be able to get back out there on a larger scale.
The Government also laid out a plan to devolve power to local authorities to lockdown smaller regions and close certain premises and outlets.
Johnson explained how speed was key in controlling the virus and that local authorities doing this would be another step in the right direction in the country’s effort to control the virus.
