Commercial drone pilot hopefuls vie for free tutelage under Coptrz

UK-based commercial drone specialist Coptrz has put spots on its drone pilot training course up for grabs as part of a competition.

The UAV company has announced that it is holding a competition with 10 bumper prizes. Entrants who put their name and email address in the box will be in with a chance of receiving a slot on a Coptrz course, worth over £1,000.

As well as a place on a three-day course and one-day flight test, the 10 winners will be invited to Coptrz Making Money from Drones seminar.

The competition post stated: “The Coptrz Comprehensive CAA PfCO Training Course will allow you to gain the full up-to-date package of skills, knowledge and experience needed to apply for your Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). During the course, you will gain a thorough understanding of the current UK air law and operations standards for flying drones safely in a commercial environment.”

The recipients of the first five places will be announced on Feb 28, the last five on March 30.
