Bespoke unmanned vehicles specialist Consortiq’s cloud-based offering has seen the international business snap up a digital industry-leading award.
The UK Digital Experience Awards, which is now in its third year, celebrates all business types that operate with professional digital capabilities, and presented Consortiq with this year’s Best Cloud Service accolade.
Software development manager at Consortiq, David Walters, attended the daytime awards event at Wembley Stadium yesterday.
Walters told Commercial Drone Professional: “We are thrilled to receive the award for CQNet in the Best Cloud Service category at the UK Digital Experience Awards.
“We started this journey 15 months ago, with diagrams all over a wall, about what CQNet could be, and here it is. It’s helping organisations put drones in the sky safely. We innovate so they can achieve.”
The international business, which operates in the UK, UAE and America, boasts Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and National Qualified Entity (NQE) accreditations and provides unmanned technical solutions to fit commercial applications.
The win comes a month on from the release of Consortiq’s upgraded unmanned vehicle management app. The cloud solution CQNet features mapping tools as well as flight planning documentation.
Consortiq is currently running a free 30 day trial to give clients the opportunity test its award-winning cloud-based solution.
The award finalists were judged by panels of independent business men and women that scored methodology and criteria, endorsed by Cranfield School of Management and Usability 24/7.
The ceremony has grown rapidly over the last three years and is now attended by representatives from over 100 companies in many sectors and disciplines.
