A global supplier of commercial drone solutions has made a key appointment in a bid to ramp up its sales in North America.
Delair has appointed UAV and aerial intelligence expert Michael Blondeau to the position of North American sales manager.
Blondeau, who brings 15 years of piloting, training and commercial drone operational experience, will be a key part of the team that is rapidly growing Delair’s presence in the North American market.
Blondeau’s experience includes more than 2,000 hours as pilot-in charge (PIC) of unmanned flights, several years with the US army and military subcontractors managing aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions; as well as a more recent role supporting commercial implementations of drone technology for surveying and mapping in industries such as construction, engineering, mining and agriculture.
He will join a team of commercial drone experts that are supporting Delair‘s expanding customer base in North America, which has increased to represent more than 25% of the company‘s business.
He will work directly with the Delair ecosystem of resellers, service operators, technology partners and end users to develop optimised solutions for specific use models and applications.
