DJI’s Enterprise team has confirmed that this year’s Airworks event is “going virtual.”
In a release sent out to the industry , DJI explained that “in light of global health concerns, and after careful consideration, we have decided to transform this year’s conference into a fully virtual event.”
The manufacturer continued: “AirWorks has become a leading event where industry experts and seasoned pilots gather to advance the future of commercial drone technology. While we regret not being able to meet face to face, we are extremely excited about the opportunities that gathering online presents.”
It confirmed that in a new all-digital format, AirWorks will still aim to deliver high-quality content including keynotes, breakout sessions, panels, and networking opportunities for the commercial drone sector.
With regards to pricing, DJI says the new virtual format will be available at a significantly lowered cost.
It said it hopes the lowered pricing “will allow attendees from around the globe, who otherwise might not be able to travel to Los Angeles, to participate and connect with the greater commercial drone community.”
