Chinese technology company DJI has extended its range of UAVs with the addition of a noise-slashing model.
The Mavic Pro Platinum model, which has been designed to be the company’s most compact unit to date, features noise reduction, a compact body and 30-minute flight times.
The newly designed unit, which comes a year on from the launch of the original Mavic, has reduced noise by 60% compared to its predecessor.
With a brand-new aerodynamic model, featuring 8331 propellers, was designed to give the Mavic Pro Platinum noise control performance and offer FOC ESC drivers increased stability.
The folding Mavic Pro Platinum UAV, which also features sensors, still and video cameras, can travel at speeds up to 40kph.
The new Mavic Pro Platinum, which has been designed to operate in temperatures from zero degrees Celsius to 40, will retail for $1,099 (£810).
