Drone Delivery Canada proves itself in DSV agreement

Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) has announced that DSV Air and Sea Canada, with which it partnered last year, is satisfied that the pairing is a productive one after operations began in March.

The commercial agreement was made in October 2019, with trial flights to DSV’s head office in Milton, Ontario, beginning in March 2020.

After the successful trial period the operation now sees as many as 400 flights per month, according to DDC.

DDC expects multiple subsequent inbound/outbound commercial routes for DSV’s customers with time-sensitive cargo.

It also said that active discussions are underway with numerous prospective companies for subsequent routes.

Customers pay a monthly fee for each drone route deployed, pursuant to the terms of their respective agreements.
