Drone Safe Register hosts second members’ meeting

Drone Safe Register has held its second members’ meeting today.

Held at the Gatwick Aviation Museum, the day features talks from the likes of Qlaims, Coverdrone and DSR founder, Mark Boyt.

Commercial Drone Professional is also in attendance to give DSR members a run through of its offering and what it can provide to the industry.

Superintendent Justin Burtenshaw from Sussex Police is also expected to give attendees and insight into the events last Christmas in his presentation; ‘Understanding Gatwick.’

The events agenda plans for welcome and introductory talks in the morning and workshops in the afternoon.

The workshops split into 2 x 1 hour sessions, offer Colour Grading with Echo Alfa, Thermal Imaging with iRed’s Steve Wellend, Photography with Jessops, and Ops Manuals & OSC’s.

Mark Boyt will then reflect on the day and give his closing remarks.

Following Boyt’s successful appearance on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den, CDP caught up with him found out more about what it would mean for his firm.
