Drone Safe Register launches marketplace to buy and sell equipment

Drone Safe Register has launched a new marketplace feature, allowing drone users in the UK to buy and sell drone equipment.

The feature, built as part of its website upgrade, wants to encourage people within the industry to trade kit that is no longer required while looking for an upgrade.

Use of the system is free for DSR members, while non-members must pay a nominal fee of £1 to list any items for sale.

The website, which is already up and running, assorts items into four categories which include cameras, camera accessories, drones and drone accessories.

Earlier in 2018, DSR founder Mark Boyt won investment from Peter Jones after a successful appearance on Dragons’ Den.
