The Drone Safe Register (DSR) has taken the ‘natural next step’ in launching the Drone Safe Store, which will offer buyers free telephone consultation with experienced pilots.

DSR launched as the UK’s largest network of approved professional drone operators for hire.

It next won support on BBC’s Dragons’ Den and is a Recognised Professional Directory.

The new store will offer reliable drones and accessories, said DSR, in addition to a support helpline for new pilots.

Buyers will be able to speak to experienced pilots in order to minimise the risks associated with early flights.

CEO Mark Boyt said: “Opening a drone store is a natural step for us and this is a really exciting time.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Drone Safe Register for the work behind the scenes to make sure this will become a busy supplier of DJI drones.

“Drone Safe Register has always been about safety and education.

“This is how we’ve developed our reputation as a professional network and why major clients are attracted to us.

“Launching our drone store makes us a one stop shop. You can come to DSR to book a pilot, buy a drone, find training and access expertise and buy aerial stock footage.”
