A $7.5 million (£6 million) series C funding round for DroneBase will see the company expand into Europe and the renewable energy market.
New investors included Valor Equity Partners and Razi Ventures joined Union Square Ventures (USV), Upfront Ventures, Hearst Ventures, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and DJI, bringing total funding to $32 million (£26 million).
With the funding it will create a DroneBase Insights for Wind and Solar division, as well as DroneBase Europe, which will be located in Germany.
The company is headquartered in Santa Monica, California and was founded in 2014.
It provides commercial drone services globally, including aerial photography, videography, mapping and data collection.
