DRONEDEK eyes smart drone delivery growth as it secures second patent


DRONEDEK has been granted its second patent for its DRONEDEK.

The company describes its product as the “mailbox of the future smart delivery receptacle.”

In a release detailing the news of the awarded patent, the company described that now drone delivery is on the horizon, the only thing more important than the drone is the receptacle.

It says its platform-agnostic delivery receptacle received claims allowing for a heated and cooled cargo area; opening up delivery of heated foods and cooled beverages as well as pharmaceutical drugs and more.

DRONEDEK has also received patent protection for its bio-toxin and explosive sensing and reporting technology and has additionally received numerous other claims including autonomous battery pack exchanging, heated doors and camera surveillance.

DRONEDEK says one day it hopes to be the “gateway to every home and business in America.”
