Drone data platform DroneDeploy has announced the opening of its new Australia office as it looks to expand the company internationally.
The San Francisco-headquartered company provides enterprise-grade software for drone solutions providers in oil and gas, agriculture, mining and other industries.
Bolstered by strong growth during the COVID-19 pandemic the company has made dramatic moves to expand globally.
It has now opened its Sydney, Australia office, with APAC general manager Adam Savage heading up the operation.
Elsewhere, M.G. Thibaut, previously CFO of the CRM platform Copper, joined DroneDeploy as chief financial officer. He will be based at the company’s San Francisco headquarters.
“As we serve a more global customer base, including the world’s largest companies, M.G.’s expertise and experience will help us best scale and serve our customers,” says Mike Winn, CEO and co-founder, DroneDeploy.
Furthermore, DroneDeploy has released its summer product release, which includes serving customers out of a South Korean data center, and SOC 2 Type 1 Certification, an internationally recognised security and availability standard.
