Public safety and emergency services drone pilots from across the globe will gather virtually to share use cases, best practices, and key learnings at the DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit.
It will form part of this year’s Commercial UAV Expo Americas held in a virtual environment from September 15-17, 2020.
Diversified Communications, the producer of Commercial UAV Expo Americas, will again partner with AIRT, the leading 501(c) non-profit organization supporting Drones For Good, to produce the DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit, a virtual event for first responders and search and rescue personnel operating sUAS.
Lisa Murray, Diversified’s group director, said: “We are excited to partner with AIRT to provide DRONERESPONDERS-branded content that supports the use of drones by public safety agencies and emergency services organizations.”
Adding: “This year’s virtual production will provide a new opportunity for first responders drones teams to share ideas and outcomes that will benefit the whole community.”
While Chief Werner, director at DRONERESPONDERS, said: “With the global COVID-19 pandemic, interest in the use of unmanned systems by first responders is increasing at a rapid pace to help promote physical distancing during public safety operations.
“The Commercial UAV Expo virtual event provides an ideal forum for helping DRONERSPONDERS to expand awareness and knowledge surrounding sUAS for law enforcement, fire rescue, and other emergency services.”
