Dronestream partners with SkyLark Labs for world’s first Drone Surveillance System


Dronestream has partnered with SkyLark Labs to unveil what it claims to be the world’s first Drone Surveillance System (DSS).

The DSS has been designed to automatically identify violent individuals to aid law enforcement agencies in the monitoring of large public areas.

Dronestream’s CEO and founder Harry Howe has been working alongside his SkyLark counterpart Dr Amarjot Singh as part of the project.

As part of the release, those involved highlighted the rate of criminal activities by individuals and threats by terrorist groups has been on the rise.

The companies went on to describe how they wanted to help in making crowded public places safer with the new system.

Howe confirmed he will be at next week’s Counter Terror Expo at London’s Olympia where he will be delivering a talk formally launching the system.

Dr Singh is expected to join in with the talk via Skype.
