DroneUp and Skywatch.AI collaborate in move to provide automated insurance coverage


DroneUp has announced a partnership with SkyWatch.AI to provide on-demand, automated flight insurance coverage.

The coverage will be available to Part 107 pilots when they execute commercial missions delivered in the DroneUp app.

Liability coverage will also be carried by DroneUp at no additional charge to its participating drone pilots.

It will work by, after notifying, verifying and accepting a job in the DroneUp app, pilots will be two-clicks away from insurance coverage which includes property damage, bodily injury and privacy claims.

The companies confirmed that the insurance integration has started today and is accessible from the DroneUp app.
