Cambridgeshire-based UAV specialist Ely Aviation has expanded its presence within the UK’s commercial drone landscape by introducing a new business offering.
The company, which is headed up by Ian Titchener, first opened its doors in January after it was granted its PfCO and is now offering a new course for UAV beginners.
The six-hour educational course, which covers safe flying locations, take off and landing, emergency procedure management and equipment maintenance, among other aspect, is designed to equip total newcomers to UAV technology with all of the basic skills that they need to be safer drone pilots, and avoid the pitfalls that so often befall those who have never flown before.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Our team are not just expert UAV operators, but also have extensive backgrounds in sales and marketing, lead generation and business management.
“Our courses not only enhance your existing skill set but also help you past the hurdle of finding your first customer and beyond. Using time-tested and proven methods we will equip you to give your business longevity, prosperity and the ability to deliver excellent service time after time.”
