Drone Racing League, NBC Sports Network and FanDuel launch virtual drone racing series

The Drone Racing League (DRL) has announced that the first-ever fantasy virtual drone racing series, the 2020 FanDuel DRL SIM Racing Cup. It will premiere on Saturday, May 16 at 2:30pm ET on NBCSN and will run for eight weekends on NBCSN and Twitter. Drone Racing League launches ‘next-generation’ racing drone

The Drone Racing League (DRL), the global professional drone racing circuit, has unveiled the DRL Racer4, the next generation racing drone. The DRL Racer4 marks the league's fourth iteration, high-speed FPV (First Person View) drone, which can accelerate from 0 - 90 MPH in under a second. The world's top twelve pilots will race a fleet of 600 custom-built DRL Racer4 drones throughout the 2019 DRL Allianz World Championship Season. Drone racing pilots set to compete for prize worth over £75k

The world’s top drone racing pilots are set to go head to head once again this year as they compete for the top prize in the Drone Racing League. The DRL begins tomorrow evening in California with pilots from around the world competing in the first heat. 18 pilots will compete in the season but only 10 will go to the championship, with each pilot flying on four of the regular season’s six events. The winner of each event clinches a spot in the championship as the remaining slots are awarded to the pilot's with the most season points. 2018
