DJI has made a commitment to its customers, despite growing coronavirus concerns around the world.
Speaking to Commercial Drone Professional, DJI explained that although there may be some coronavirus forced supply disruption, it continues to be “unwavering” in its support for customers.
A spokesperson said: “Following the Chinese Lunar New Year, production capacity is increasing stably, and we have enough stock to fulfil demand for almost all our product lines.
“There may be some disruptions in the supply chain of raw materials that could lead to delays in shipment. While this is outside our control, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and adapt to developments accordingly.”
It went on to confirm that health and safety practice is at the top of its agenda.
The spokesperson went on: “The health and safety of our employees and customers is our top priority, and we have taken proactive measures in China as well as our regional operations to help prevent spreading COVID-19 in the workplace or during external meetings.
Confirming: “These measures are based on recommendations by health authorities around the globe.”
“As a privately held company, we do not comment on sales or profit numbers, but we are unwavering in our commitment to serve our customers for whom our products have become indispensable tools in their daily operations in areas such as public safety, energy, infrastructure, agriculture and many more.
“We thank our customers and partners for their understanding and support in these uncertain times, and we continue to assist efforts to help affected communities successfully confront the COVID-19 virus,” they concluded.
Earlier last month, Commercial Drone Professional reported on how DJI has already pledged $1.5m to aid the support effort against the spreading of the coronavirus.
