Chinese electric aviation specialist Yuneec is cashing in on the opportunity to promote its newly-released, specifically-designed commercial drone at the Commercial UAV Show in London.
The company is showcasing the functions of its system six-rotor platform H520 sUAS, its first product designed specifically for commercial use, at the London-based show, following the model’s release in August.
Yuneec, which specialises in other areas of technology as well as UAVs, is attending the event to communicate with leading members of the drone community.
Yuneec UK managing director, Clive Coote, told Commercial Drone Professional: “It’s the central show to bring all the UAV and tech people together in one place.”
Having recently released its first commercial drone, Yuneec has observed the fast-paced nature of the commercial drone sector.
Coote added: “The commercial side of drones is growing rapidly and people are finding more uses for commercial drones. It’s moving so fast that you have got to have a forward-thinking team to pick up on where the next trend will be.”
While the sector requests a broad spectrum of capabilities from Yuneec when discussing drone requirements, Coote predicts that one, among many, trends that could shape the coming year of the industry is increasing demand for thermal imaging applications.
