Wing is set to launch its drone delivery program in Finland in the coming weeks.
In a blog post, the company confirmed that it would start delivering goods to people in Helsinki in June.
It said the pilot would conduct deliveries in the city’s Vuosaari district.
In preparation ahead of the Finland drone delivery program, Wing has hosted a number of community events in the area so that local residents could ask questions about the service and how it might affect them.
Wing said that most residents it has heard from say they’re interested in using Wing to order dinner or groceries.
More meetings of this nature will also be held in the coming weeks.
Last month, the FAA awarded Wing with the first air carrier certification for drone delivery in the US.
