The fifth instalment of the two-day event is expected to track its largest crowd yet, with the show reporting last week that registrations were up 27% ahead of this time last year and approximately 3,000 visitors from around the world are expected to attend this free event.
Companies including Survey Solutions Scotland, Atkins, Bentley, Topcon, HM Land Registry, Leica Geosystems, Viametris, Trimble, Clicks and Links, Malcolm Hughes, Faro, Stonex, The Coal Authority, Bridgeway Consulting and many more will all be in attendance.
Attendees at the free seminars will hear how new technologies are being used on major projects like Crossrail and the Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 scheme, how surface mapping for road inspection ahead of re-surfacing can now be carried out much more rapidly, and how new monitoring systems are helping to protect building owners and occupiers in the vicinity of tunnelling for the Northern Line extension.
Seminars will feature real-world case studies that show how cost and risk can be reduced as well as productivity increased. Seminars will be delivered by leading award-winning experts, researchers and opinion formers from across the private, public and academic sectors.
