The global drone software market will soar to new height in the next seven years, an industry report has predicted.
According to industry data body, QY Research, the drone software industry was worth $389m (£297m) in 2017 and is projected to reach $5.3bn (£4.2bn) by 2025, at a CAGR of 38.89% between 2017 and 2025.
The drone software market is driven by various end-user industries, is used mainly used for three industries and applications: construction, agriculture and mining. Construction was the most widely used area which took up about more than 30% of the global total in 2017 and its application occupies the more share as compared to others.
Looking to the future, the slow upward price trend in recent years will maintain. As competition intensifies, price gaps between different brands will narrowing, while there will be fluctuation in gross margin.
