Hydrogen fuel cell specialist HyPoint has joined the California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) along with the significant expansion of its senior team of scientists.
The CHBC is a membership-based trade association that advances the commercialisation of hydrogen in the power production, energy storage, and transportation sectors.
With its membership, Silicon Valley’s HyPoint sits alongside the likes of Honda, Ballard, Linde, Plug Power, Nel Hydrogen, ITM Power and more.
The company also announced today it has hired several new key executives to drive HyPoint’s technology development and go-to-market strategy.
The new hires bring decades of engineering and leadership experience in hydrogen fuels, polymer nanocomposites, robotics, and related technologies.
New additions include: Dr Brian Benicewicz, head of science; John Vogel, chief engineer of HTPEM Stack; and Rhonda Staudt, chief engineer of HTPEM MEA.
CDP covered HyPoint’s work last week, detailing its mission to create zero-carbon emission fuel cells to power drones, eVTOLs and flying cars. Read more below:
