Lincolnshire Police has added helping track down hare courses to its string of successful drone missions.
The drone unit of the force took to Twitter to describe how it had assisted the ARV and dog unit to track down nine people who were suspected of hare coursing in Holbeach.
The tweet, which was backed up with video footage taken by drone, read: “9 people came to Lincolnshire today to take part in suspected harecoursing at Holbeach St Matthew.
“Unfortunately yet again they underestimated @lincspolice @LincsARV who chased them in their cars and @LincsPoliceK999 who got them on foot. 9 arrested and 5 dogs seized.”
