iRed has been granted a contract with YPO as part of a major national framework agreement, in conjunction with the Home Office.
The £8m framework agreement is dedicated to supporting the Emergency Services, Blue Light, and other public sector bodies.
For iRed the primary focus is to supply drones and their associated products and services to these organisations.
As a company, iRed says it is proud to be one of two suppliers to win a place on all sections of the four-lot contract.
Following a tendering process in which the company achieved a score of 99%, iRed has been selected to provide these public sector bodies with innovative drone technology, as well as specialist sensors.
Also incorporated in the new framework is the supply of a wide variety of services, such as drone hire, leasing options, and bespoke packages.
iRed will also be providing YPO’s clients with unique support and maintenance, including drone repairs and servicing.
Tim Mammatt, iRed’s Solutions Manager, said: “This framework is a fantastic opportunity, and we are particularly proud that iRed has secured a place on all four lots of the framework agreement.”
Adding: “It’s great to see more applications for drone technology emerge within the public sector, and we’re looking forward to working with YPO to supply their clients with industry-leading technologies, as well as services, support and maintenance.”
YPO is a leading procurement organisation, delivering products and services to a wide range of public sector bodies.
The framework agreement, created in conjunction with the Home Office, has been designed to provide these organisations with drone solutions specifically tailored to their needs.
