JTT Technology has unveiled its flagship ‘Spider C85’ commercial drone at a media conference attended by more than 200 people – and claimed the device is so intuitive that operators can master it with just a few minutes of training.
Officials at the firm insisted the system is portable and “easier to operate compared with traditional drones”.
The company stated: “For the traditional drone, it usually requires long-term training, however, the training time of the Spider C85 operation can be shortened to as little as 10 minutes, which means that one can operate the drone shortly after the user’s training.”
Automatic functionality is available for non-professional users, including height and distance settings. Regardless of where the UAV heads to, the drone will automatically recognise and remember the location of the operator.
The Spider C85’s wheelbase is 85cm, and maximum payload weight is 2kg. Its maximum working time also can reach 45 minutes. It can carry dual payloads to meet requirements for different missions.
JTT used the launch event to demonstrate the drone in different situations, including security patrol, law enforcement, mass incident responding, emergency rescue, crowded areas and major traffic roads smart surveillance.
