Aerial Intelligence company Measure has announced the addition of mapping capabilities to its drone software platform Measure Ground Control, in conjunction with photogrammetry specialist Pix4D.
The Measure Ground Control software aims to bring program management, integrated data processing and mapping tools under one umbrella.
This, Measure claims, means an easier user experience and a more affordable end product for customers.
With the addition of Pix4D’s software means drone pilots can create and view high quality orthomosaics, digital surface models and contour maps.
The programme comes in three versions: Pro, for individual drone pilots; Teams, for small and medium companies; and Enterprise for large corporations.
Measure CEO and co-founder Brandon Torres Declet commented: “The latest version of Ground Control expands our user base across the drone ecosystem.
“Not only have we made it simple to fly and manage a drone program, but now we’ve made the most powerful drone mapping software, Pix4D, accessible to a broader audience.
“Measure Ground Control is the most cost-effective way for independent drone service providers and corporate drone programs alike to fly safely and create high-quality data products.”
Pix4D managing director Christopher Cressy added: “We’re excited to make Pix4D’s high-quality photogrammetry available within Measure Ground Control.
“The integration of our data processing and data products with comprehensive program management and tracking features means users will benefit from operational efficiencies without sacrificing data product quality.”
