TerraView is set to launch the RangePro X8, an industrial unmanned aerial vehicle with a flight time of 70 minutes.
The California-based company revealed the record-breaking drone whose new design and larger batteries have led to flight times that eclipse the competition.
TerraView president, Bruce Myers, said of the new launch: “The RangePro X8 is a game-changer that employs military-grade technology to make drone missions more efficient and effective. This product will instantly elevate business’ capabilities, perspective, and competitive advantage.”
Thanks to a swappable payload gimbal, TerraView’s new UAV can carry a range of sensors capturing a variety of data types.
The RangePro X8’s data capture abilities extend to everything from construction site planning to power line inspections.
Alongside the extended flight time, the new RangePro X8 offers an enhanced lifespan thanks to its new batteries which can support up to 500 charging cycles.
“We know that UAV customers are first and foremost concerned with the safety, durability and the ROI of their investment,” Myers continued. “That’s why we are so proud that the RangePro X8 not only has a longer flight time than the competition but is also engineered with the highest quality materials and built to Mil-Spec standards.”
