Parrot quashes rumours of entry-level market exit in favour of enterprise focus

Parrot has released a statement which seems to suggest it will not be exiting the entry-level or toy drone market.

The response to a request from Commercial Drone Professional comes after a number of reports online detailed how the manufacturer was planning on focusing solely on its enterprise products.

A spokesperson for the manufacturer said: “Parrot remains as Europe’s leading drone company, including those for leisure, business, defence and security. The Parrot ANAFI is at the centre of our innovative drone technologies, and we have designed and created the ANAFI product range for consumer, professional and defence markets.”

They continued: “We are continuously evolving and updating our latest drone innovations across all areas, in line with feedback from our diverse community of users around-the-world. Like all technology companies, we continually review our product pipeline and portfolio to ensure we are delivering the most innovative drone technologies and capabilities for the multi usages and channels we are focused on.”

The France-based firm released a new ANAFI in April, targeted at industry professionals.
