Fenland Police in Norfolk called upon a drone as part of a wanted man search over the weekend.
In order to help catch a potential suspect in the King’s Lynn area on Sunday, the force posted on social medial that its dogs and drone unit had been required.
The tweet read: ‘FenCops were in the KingsLynnPolice area this afternoon when a male ran off in front of them. Turns out he was wanted. Large area search for the suspect with the help from NSPoliceDogs & drone unit.’
The statement went on to confirm that the team are continuing with enquiries into the incident.
Last week, Commercial Drone Professional covered a story on Lincolnshire Police using a drone following a car accident.
