Mark Brueton works for BAM Nuttall where he provides specialist support and training for apprentices and graduate engineers.
Ahead of this year’s event, he told the Commercial UAV Show that he loves working with complex digital tools, having seen the industry progress over several decades and is dedicated to promoting these evolving digital tools to help win more work and deliver better projects. He also gives surveying advice and guidance to tenders and projects.
Drones and surveying have become prevalent in recent months, with one of the company’s surveying engineers speaking at Comit Project’s hustings event earlier this year about how drones have changed the work BAM Nuttall does on a daily basis.
Raquel Ruiz Fernandez, a colleague of Mark’s, told the group how implementing drones was a huge turning point for the surveying work she does and has now become another tool in the box for the company.
Mark has played his part in this work and will be keen to ensure UAV technology continues to evolve within the construction industry.
