Reliance Industries purchases Asteria Aerospace

Reliance Strategic Business Ventures, a branch of Reliance Industries, has bought an equity share in Asteria Aerospace.

Asteria Aerospace is a full-stack drone technology company. It manufactures drones and offers drone software.

Reliance now owns a near 52% share in Asteria.

This share could grow to nearly 90% if Reliance’s plans to invest further are executed.

Mumbai-based Reliance is a multinational conglomerate with businesses in petrochemicals, energy, retail, natural resources and more.

Asteria manufactures the A200, A400, Genesis and Cygnus drones. It specialises in security and surveillance.
