Resource Group rebrands drone business as commercial operations expand

The unmanned aviation services division of the Resource Group has rebranded itself in a move aimed at better reflecting the direction the business is going.

The company’s Embedded Systems and Solutions division has now changed its legal entity name from Resource Group Limited to Phixos Limited, with the remotely-piloted aerial systems section of the organisation set to trade as ‘RUAS’.

Head of RUAS, Mark Jones, explained: “This is an exciting time for us, as we seize the opportunity to create a fresh new look for ourselves to embody not only our status as the longest-operating Civil Aviation Authority approved RPAS training provider in the marketplace, but to also greater incorporate our commercial operations offering that has been going from strength to strength over the past three years.”

RUAS debuted the new brand-look at last week’s Commercial UAV show in London and Jones said he is looking forward to developing and strengthening relationships in what will be an “exciting new era” as Phixos Limited, trading as RUAS.

Over the coming weeks the division will slowly integrate the new branding into its corporate materials, such as letterheads, email campaigns and social media.

The company noted that the move is a name change only and all other details and structures to the business remain the same.

Resource Group is a privately-owned business with its roots dating back more than 30 years. It has evolved into a substantial business, which offers an array of human resource-based services and solutions to technical industries.
