Austrian laser scanner and distancemeter specialist RIEGL has told CDP of the importance of manpower and international expansion to its continued success.
When asked how the company plans to remain innovative and ahead-of-the curve in the young, constantly changing drone industry, RIEGL’s Philipp Amon, manager ULS business division, said simply: “We do everything in our power to remain constantly innovative, but one of the most important basic preconditions is manpower.”
Amon continued: “We continuously enlarge our team to ensure that all segments (electronics, design, UAV integration, software and firmware) can be handled properly and that all available resources are bundled to develop new instruments and software to control and process the data.”
Merely maintaining high staff levels will not suffice for RIEGL, though.
Amon added: “Additionally, new company buildings are currently being constructed both at the company headquarters in Austria, and at the company’s North American Location in Orlando, USA.”
