SenseFly to lift the lid on drone mapping at special UAV Show workshop

Geospatial drone specialist SenseFly is set to offer a free guide to how drone mapping can deliver cost and efficiency benefits for end-users at the Commercial UAV Show tomorrow.

The company will run a free 90-minute workshop that outlines exactly how UAV technology is being used in Europe and beyond to boost project efficiency, improve on-site safety and reduce the cost of operations.

The seminar, which takes place at 2pm in Theatre 2, will delve into a number of issues, including how drone mapping works, the key benefits and typical survey and GIS applications.

It will also address a number of ‘hot topics’, such as accuracy, data integration, and software compatibility, as well as cite customer and ROI examples.

Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions at the workshop.

SenseFly’s Ana Jesenicnik and Chris Thomson will lead the session and will be joined by Adrian Charters from DroneSurv, Land and Minerals Consulting Ltd.

The company, which employs more than 130 staff, is attending the show at ExCeL alongside UK distributor partner KOREC.
