SkyX has been announced as a Gold Sponsor for the New Kuwait Summit.
Jason Braverman, SkyX CTO, will participate in a December 11 panel on Kuwait’s living environment and how new technology can support local energy companies.
SkyX sits alongside four other gold sponsors: HSBC, Markaz, Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
The tie-up further solidifies SkyX’s position in the Middle East.
Only last month it announced two new strategic partnerships at the Dubai Airshow. It also claims its SkyTwo drone is perfectly equipped for Dubai’s extreme weather.
“The Middle East is a key territory for us to expand our solution offering to local energy and infrastructure companies,” said Didi Horn, SkyX founder & CEO.
Horn continued: “Companies here contend with many of the same issues we’ve come to expect in North America, but face unique issues such as deformation along above- ground pipelines and security threats that we’re in a strong position to address.
“After proving ourselves on a number of projects globally, the Middle East is where we’re going to see landmark opportunities to make real, positive impacts in midstream integrity management.”
SkyX incorporates artificial intelligence to its commercial drones, serving the rail, power, oil and gas industries.
